Kährs and Karelia-Upofloor have received competition authorities' approval to merge which means that the merger was completed as of Dec 3.

Karelia's innovative new hardwood floors dazzle with their colours and unique surface treatments

Karelia launches a  collection of 8 new hardwood floors with innovative use of colour and surface treatments.

Saima won the renowned "Red Dot Design" award with the Wirkkala and Raita models. Karelia-Upofloor launched the new colours along the Saima Classic at the beginning of the year; such as the grey colour originally designed by the fomous Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala. Design Director Pekka Toivanen and a Helsinki based design company Muotohiomo have participated in the design of the renewed Saima family.
